Yacht Club Show and Symposia

Organizers:
The Management Center of Aquatic Sports of the General Administration of Sport of China
IIR Exhibitions (Beijing) Ltd

Vigorous efforts will be made to publicize all the programs together with the promotion of the exhibition and to organize visitors.
The professional and public media will be invited to the spot to report all the activities during and after the exhibition.

Background

The yacht club is playing an important role in boosting the boat consumption. The boat owners will need assistance from the clubs on the steering training, course design, after-sales service and anchoring berth. In addition, the club will also work for fostering the yacht culture.

Currently China has a number of clubs mainly distributed in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Hainan, Tianjin, Qingdao, Dalian and Nanjing. However, the club development is unbalanced, especially between the south and the north part of China. The reasons lie in not only the local economic strength and the climate difference between the south and the north; but the backwardness of the related rules and regulations constituted and enforced by Chinese government. Beijing enjoys a huge boat consumption market, but has not a mature boat exhibition for the boat producers, distributors and clubs. The potential buyers here have many questions on the boat berth and following services. Thus, Beijing International Boat and Marina Development Show will provide a good opportunity for the yacht clubs in the other areas to introduce their services and programs.

Placed at Beijing, the exhibition will help to drive the development of the boat industry by attracting the central government’s and media’s full attention. It is a hard-won opportunity for the domestic yacht clubs to exchange experiences with each other and to improve the terminal service of the boat industry.
